It’s finally happening - we're tying the knot! After over a decade of love, laughter, and adventures, we’re bringing everyone together in our favourite place, Caloundra, for a celebration to remember.

How It All Began
The Ballad of Jase & Vic started over 15 years ago at Pitcher Partners, where Vic began earning her marketing stripes. Jason, a tech wizard from the outsourced IT company, was practically part of the office furniture. We quickly became great friends—Jase supporting Vic through life’s challenges (and ensuring her tech support was suspiciously top-notch).
Despite whispers at work that Jason was "into" her, Vic remained oblivious. Jase still grumbles about not being invited to her 29th Jungle Theme party, but shortly after, at Fi’s birthday drinks, things got… interesting. Jase boldly asked Vic, and only Vic, at a table full of girls, what she was drinking. She said, “Surprise me.” He returned with a Long Island Iced Tea—the most obvious "liquor me up" cocktail choice ever—and the rest is history.
The First Date That Sparked It All
Our friendly dinners turned into something more when Jase took Vic on a walk through Queen Street Mall, then to New Farm Park to prove her favourite childhood playground still existed. Sitting by the river near the Powerhouse, he made his move. Sparks flew, and our adventure truly began!
Life Together: From New Farm to Nundah
Six months later, we moved in together for three incredible years in New Farm. Between trips to Melbourne and Hong Kong, we continued to discover just how much fun we could have together! Jase became Vic’s biggest cheerleader, encouraging her to leap into a new marketing opportunity at Vincents.
Wanting to grow our little squad, we moved out to Nundah, where over the next few years we welcomed our beautiful fur babies Gus (the goodest boy) and Georgie (the sometimes good boy). Our little munchkins continue to leave paw prints on our hearts and absolutely brought us even closer together. Our adventures expanded to include trips to Tasmania, Adelaide, and of course our favourite, Caloundra.
Home Sweet Home
In 2020, we took the leap into home ownership, moving into “The Nook” - our beloved abode in Carseldine. Together, we embraced the challenges and the joys of painting, gardening, and pool maintenance (with varying levels of success!). The pandemic brought us even closer as we prioritised health, work-life balance, spending time with our growing family of nieces and nephews, and creating a home filled with love and creativity. Vic rediscovered her passion for colour and painting, while Jase honed his handyman skills—and we became the ultimate team.
The Proposal
On September 2, 2022, just over ten years after we started dating, Jase made the journey out to Samford to visit Garrick and uphold the tradition Vic had always said she loved the idea of: asking for her dad’s blessing. With both Garrick and Julie’s approval, he then whisked Vic away for a fancy weekend at the Langham Hotel on the Gold Coast. Overlooking the beach, in a swanky room decked out to beat any Bachelor episode in existence, Jason proposed. Cue tears, laughter, and a resounding "Yes!"
Worth the Wait
As they say, every love story is special - but ours is our favourite. It's filled with passion, laughter, and moments shared with so many of you - those who will celebrate with us in July and those who will always hold a special place in our hearts. Our next chapter starts here, and it’s got confetti, dancing, and a whole lot of love—let’s do this!

The Caloundra Powerboat Club is our all-in-one Wedding destination! From "I do's" in the charming gazebo by Golden Beach to sipping drinks and nibbling canapés right next door on the upstairs terrace and finally celebrating in style in the adjoining function room with stunning views of Pumicestone Passage, we feel it's going to be the perfect spot to put all our merriment into motion!
Your Chariot Awaits
Need a lift? The club’s free courtesy bus has you covered! It services all the main Caloundra hotspots (Pelican Waters, Golden, Kings, Bulcock, Shelly, Dicky, and Moffatt Beaches) with hourly departures from 11:30 am to the final ride at 11:30 pm.
We’ll give everyone a friendly nudge as the night winds down to secure your ride home. If you’d also like to hitch a ride to the ceremony, why not book ahead and let Designated Dave take the wheel? Call reception at (07) 5492 1444 to lock it in.
FYI: The bus covers areas up to Baringa and Currimundi Lake Bridge, so plan accordingly, party people!

Our ceremony (weather permitting) will be outside by the beach, so think breezy and beautiful, but don’t forget it’s winter! While we’ll be indoors for the reception, the terrace might bring a bit of ocean air, so a warm layer will be your best friend as the night goes on.
And when it comes to dancing, we say comfort is key! Bring your best dancing shoes or kick them off entirely. We just want you on that dance floor, having the best time with us!
